What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, the visitor's IP address and browser user agent to help detect spam.
An anonymized string created from your email address (this is also called a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service if you use it. The privacy policy page can be found here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is publicly visible in the context of your comment.
Media
If you are a registered user and upload images to the site, you should avoid uploading images containing EXIF GPS location data. Website visitors can download the images from the website and see the location data.

Who we share your data with
How long we keep your data
When you leave a comment then that comment and the metadata of that comment is stored forever. This way we can automatically recognize and approve follow-up comments instead of having to moderate them.
For users registered on our website (if any), we also store personal information in their user profile. All users can view, change or delete their personal information at any time (username cannot be changed). Website administrators can also view and modify this information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site or you have left comments, you may request an export file of your personal data that we have on you, including any data you have given us. You may also request that we delete any personal data we have on you. This does not include data that we are required to retain for administrative, legal or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Comments from visitors can be routed through an automated spam detection service.
