Who is Heleen Moes.
Since this year, Heleen Moes is a new ambassador of our brand and has a pro license triathlon for the first time this year. She first came into contact with triathlon when she went to college. Two fellow students were going to do a full triathlon. That seemed really outdoorsy and the ultimate to her. In 2018, she went to cheer at the Maastricht Ironman. What an experience, what people. How cool, that atmosphere, the suffering, what mega bikers. One thing she knew for sure she had to do this too someday. In 2019, she started working with her coach Marc van der Kort. She started training on schedules and doing some loose races. She loved everything and she regularly finished on the podium. As she built up her training scope, she discovered that her strength was more in long distance. From there her choice to focus on that and she proved successful. In 2022 she became European Champion Agegroup and won Ironman Switzerland in her Agegroup. Over the next few weeks she is going to take you through her triathlon adventure and how she uses our nutrition.

The BYE Nutrition ALL-IN ONE BREAKFAST
Sometimes easy is just nice. My training weeks in the summer season are around 20-25 hours. With that, I ask a lot of my body. Because I also work, I want to be efficient with my time. During the week I get up early, do my swim training and then go straight to work. At the end of the afternoon I have another cycling or running workout. Planning well, eating well, and not spending too much time in (meal) preparation is key to being able to execute this schedule. So I want to have something handy with me in my bag that is easy to prepare. Only "easy" is not always nutritious. Something that is a requirement for me. Without proper fuel, I'm running behind.
The All-in one breakfast BYE contains the things I want and need. Proteins that are filling and are good for muscle recovery. Complex carbohydrates give me the long-lasting and fast energy. Fiber is good for my gut. The fats from the nuts and seeds keep my brain working 😊. It really works perfectly for me.
Another big advantage I find when I'm staying in other places for competitions or traveling is that I can easily take breakfast with me. I just put one of those bags of breakfast in my bag and know exactly that I'm getting the right thing. Then I can rely on that and that in turn gives me energy to get the day off to a good start. And a good start... Blessed, such a start and easy. If only everything in life were that easy....
